A CLEAR ANSWER

What are full- arch dental implants?

Full-arch treatment uses multiple dental implants to support a complete set of replacement teeth in the upper jaw, lower jaw or both. Depending on your clinical needs, the restoration may be fixed in place or designed to be removable by the patient.

Why patients consider full-arch treatment:

it may provide a more stable alternative to conventional dentures and can restore a complete smile when many teeth are missing, failing or no longer predictable to maintain.

IS FULL-ARCH TREATMENT RIGHT FOR YOU?

Your Health, Goals and Anatomy Guide the Plan.

Full-arch implant treatment may be considered when most or all teeth in an arch are missing, failing or no longer predictable to maintain. Candidacy can only be determined after an examination and appropriate imaging.

01

Many Missing or Failing Teeth

You need to replace most or all teeth in an upper arch, lower arch or both.

02

Denture Challenges

You want to discuss a more stable implant-supported alternative to a conventional denture.

03

Bone and Gums Evaluated

3D imaging and a periodontal evaluation help determine available support and whether preparatory care may be needed.

04

Health History Reviewed

Medical conditions, medications, tobacco use and healing factors must be considered before implant surgery.

05

Commitment to Maintenance

Daily cleaning and regular professional maintenance are essential for the implants, restoration and surrounding tissues.

06

Realistic Expectations

Your dentist will review alternatives, risks, timeline, temporary-tooth options and expected costs before treatment.

YOUR TREATMENT PATH

What Happens During Full-Arch Treatment?

The exact sequence, number of implants and healing time vary. Your team will explain each stage and give you a written, individualized plan.

Consultation and Goals

We discuss your current concerns, health history, previous dental experiences and what you want your new smile to help you do.

Exam and 3D Imaging

Your dentist evaluates the teeth, gums, bite, jawbone and important anatomical structures to determine appropriate options.

Personalized Treatment Plan

We explain the proposed implant positions, type of restoration, alternatives, risks, estimated timeline, comfort options and fees.

Preparatory Care, If Needed

Extractions, bone or gum procedures, or other treatment may be recommended before or at the time of implant placement.

Implant Placement

The planned implants are placed to support the arch. A temporary restoration may be provided the same day when clinical conditions allow.

Healing and Refinement

The implants integrate with the jawbone while your team monitors healing, comfort, function and the temporary restoration.

Final Restoration and Maintenance

Your final teeth are fitted and the bite is checked. Daily cleaning and regular professional care help protect the result.

Full-Arch Dental Implant FAQ

At A Plus Dentistry, full-arch implant treatment starts at $19,999 for qualifying cases. Your exact fee depends on the number and type of implants, restoration, extractions, temporary teeth, sedation and whether bone or gum procedures are needed. You will receive a personalized written estimate after evaluation.
Exact inclusions and current offer terms must be confirmed with A Plus Dentistry. A full-arch plan may involve diagnostics, implant placement, components, temporary teeth and a final restoration, but every case is planned individually and not every item is necessarily included in the advertised starting price.
All-on-4 generally describes a complete arch supported by four implants. All-on-X is a broader term for a full-arch restoration supported by the number of implants appropriate for the case. The recommended design depends on your bone, bite, anatomy and restorative plan.
They can be either. Some full-arch restorations remain fixed and are removed only by a dental professional, while others are designed for the patient to remove for cleaning. Your dentist will explain which option fits your health, function and maintenance needs.
Temporary teeth may be placed on the day of implant surgery when the implants have suitable stability and other clinical conditions are favorable. Same-day teeth are not appropriate or guaranteed for every patient.
The number varies. A full arch may be supported by four or more implants depending on available bone, anatomy, bite forces, restoration design and the treating dentist’s plan. Imaging is needed before a recommendation can be made.
Possibly. 3D imaging helps determine the amount and location of available bone. Some patients may need grafting, a modified implant plan or a different treatment option. An in-person evaluation is required.
Local anesthesia is used during implant surgery, and comfort or sedation options may be discussed when appropriate. Temporary swelling, bruising or soreness can occur afterward. Your team will provide instructions and explain when to contact the office.
The timeline varies with extractions, healing, grafting and the type of restoration. Some patients may receive temporary teeth early in treatment, while the final restoration is completed after healing. Your dentist will provide a case-specific timeline.
Possible risks include infection, bleeding, injury to nearby structures, nerve symptoms, sinus complications, implant failure and problems with the restoration. Your dentist will review the benefits, alternatives and risks that apply to you before treatment.
Clean every day around and beneath the restoration using the methods and tools your dental team recommends. Regular professional maintenance is also important. Cleaning instructions differ for fixed and removable designs.
Coverage depends on your individual plan, exclusions and annual maximum. Dental insurance may cover only part of treatment or none of it. A Plus Dentistry can help review available benefits and discuss approved payment or financing options.
